Isotope Technologies Munich (ITM) plans to present dosimetry data from its Phase 3 COMPETE trial at the upcoming Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI) annual meeting.
The company will share results that describe the use of single-time–point dosimetry of ITM-11 (Lutetium-177 [Lu-177] edotreotide), its investigational somatostatin receptor-targeted radiotherapeutic. The COMPETE trial compared ITM-11 to everolimus in patients with inoperable, progressive Grade 1 or Grade 2 gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs), meeting its primary endpoint of improved progression-free survival, ITM said.
Lu-177 edotreotide is under review by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and has not been approved for any indication.
