Cloud-based imaging collaboration firm TeleRay has appointed Saumay Kumar as CEO, effective March 10, 2026, with Kumar beginning his tenure at the 2026 conference of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS).
Kumar succeeds Timothy Kelley, who will move to the role of chair and chief strategy officer, focusing on radiology innovation and virtual care technology strategy. Prior to joining TeleRay, Kumar held senior leadership positions in healthcare and technology organizations. Some roles Kumar performed include guiding strategic growth initiatives and operational transformations.
TeleRay serves 70% of the top 50 U.S. medical centers and has been expanding its presence in radiology and virtual care across practices, clinics, and large institutions, it said.
