NewVue has appointed Jean-François Pambrun, PhD, as head of engineering, where he will focus on developing the company's EmpowerSuite platform.
NewVue’s EmpowerSuite is a cloud-native radiology workflow platform that integrates clinical data, AI and voice recognition tools, report creation, and other technologies, according to the Tampa, FL-based firm.
Pambrun has more than a decade of experience in medical imaging, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems, along with expertise in DICOM, HL7, and machine-learning model design, according to the company. He previously served as lead architect at Change Healthcare, where he helped design cloud-based PACS capabilities for high-availability workflows.
In his new role, Pambrun will work with NewVue Chief Technology Officer Aaron McCaslin to align engineering execution with architectural strategy and platform roadmap, NewVue said.
