Philips is proposing the reappointment of Roy Jakobs as its president and CEO. Jakobs has filled these roles since 2022.
The proposal was initiated in February. If approved, Jakobs will also serve as chair and member of the company's board of management. The reappointment reflects "the Supervisory Board’s recognition of the progress made since 2022 and its confidence in his leadership as Philips enters the next phase of driving profitable growth," according to the firm.
