MedQuist releases SpeechQ for Radiology

Transcription services provider MedQuist said it has released SpeechQ for Radiology, a speech recognition solution designed specifically for radiology medical reporting.

The Mount Laurel, NJ-based firm said the product's front-end speech recognition capability allows dictation, editing, and authentication (via electronic signature) of a report in one session. In addition, workflow choices allow review and correction by medical editors, and accommodate the needs of radiology residents and fellows, according to the company.

SpeechQ for Radiology can be also used as a traditional digital dictation system, MedQuist said.
