Vocada

Vocada will be debuting VoiceLink version 2.0 to attendees of the 2004 RSNA conference.

VoiceLink is technology that combines telephone and data into voice information objects (VIO) so that radiologists can create clinical voice messages delivered in fail-safe manner, ensuring that the findings are received. The application enables diagnostic departments such as radiology, pathology, or cardiology to verbally communicate critical patient findings to referring physicians through a verifiable and traceable communications system, according to Dallas-based Vocada.

Version 2.0 of the product will contain new emergent-findings management tools, and will be launched later this month in Chicago, the company said. VoiceLink is priced on the basis of the annual number of procedures and the size of the ordering clinician medical staff, with an average price point of approximately $40,000, Vocada said.
