GE will feature its Centricity RIS/PACS in Chicago later this month.

The current Centricity RIS/PACS is fully integrated at the desktop so that radiologists can view images through the PACS application, plus have full access to complete RIS information, GE said. Radiologists can launch report approval from a Centricity PACS workstation and have one-click access to images for review, according to the Waukesha, WI-based vendor.

Technologists can perform the exam verification and completion function through single access points, using a Centricity RIS/PACS technologist workstation. Globally, GE has had customers live on Centricity RIS/PACS since January 2004, the company said.
