Proton therapy developer Mevion Medical Systems has received an order from South Florida Radiation Oncology for its S250 proton therapy system.
The system will be used as part of a proton therapy treatment center to be opened in 2014, according to South Florida Radiation Oncology. Installation is expected to begin in 2013.
