Invivo launches blood oxygen monitor for MRI

MR technology provider Invivo has launched a new blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂) monitor for 3-tesla MRI.

Invivo's Essential MR monitor has an unlimited Gauss rating for 3-tesla MRI, which allows clinicians to place the monitor anywhere in the MRI room outside of the magnet bore to track a patient's vital signs, according to Invivo.

Essential has touchscreen capability, weighs 2.1 lb, and has a 5.7-inch color display, Invivo said.
