Samsung NeuroLogica plans to step up the manufacturing and shipping of its mobile CT scanners for use in diagnosing the 2019 novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in China.
The company has received orders in China for 10 mobile BodyTom scanners, it said. CT is becoming increasingly recognized as the best imaging modality to diagnose COVID-19, according to the firm.
The company will boost its delivery of the mobile CT scanners with the help of its Chinese distributor, Chindex.
