eHealth Global signs pact with Henry Ford

Medical record services provider eHealth Global Technologies of Rochester, NY, will provide its eHealthConnect software to the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit.

eHealthConnect is designed to collect and digitize medical records and images upon request from referring patients to Henry Ford. All medical records are transferred into the healthcare system's CarePlus electronic medical record (EMR) system, while images also are transferred directly into the department's PACS or image viewing system. All data will be transferred through a secure and private network connection.

The six-hospital health system includes the 903-bed tertiary care Henry Ford Hospital and is affiliated with 1,800 private practice physicians throughout southeast Michigan.
