Viztek makes milestone RIS installation

Imaging informatics firm Viztek of Jacksonville, FL, has made its 100th Opal-RIS installation.

The milestone installation was performed at Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield, MO, a 40-bed critical access hospital. The facility also installed Viztek's Opal-RAD PACS to complete its transition to a digital imaging environment for modalities that include x-ray, CT, ultrasound, and MRI.

Viztek also recently installed its 500th PACS and 1,500th Orex CR unit at Rappahannock General Hospital in Kilmarnock, VA.
