A-Life debuts interventional radiology coding suite

Billing and computerized coding vendor A-Life Medical has added automated coding capability for interventional radiology procedures.

The new functionality, which integrates with the Actus suite, provides complete coding workflow for both diagnostic and interventional medical records in radiology, according to the San Diego-based firm. The release was simultaneous with the annual ICD-9 code updates, which went into effect October 1, A-Life said.
