Philips, Atos expand remote service network

Philips Medical Systems of Andover, MA, and Atos Origin have signed a three-year contract for the rollout and continued support of Philips' CustomerCare remote services network.

The product is a private broadband network that links the vendor's equipment to its global remote service centers. Atos Origin provides installation, security standards maintenance, network monitoring, software and router operations management, and medical equipment integration on a facility's local-area network, according to Philips.
