Misys upgrades RIS software

Healthcare information technology developer Misys Healthcare Systems has released an enhanced version of its Misys Radiology RIS. Software improvements include the ability to two-way message between transcriptionists and radiologists using electronic notes, instant notification of duplicate and sequencing errors, and better manageability of patient tracking and pending orders.

Misys Radiology 4.3 is currently in use at Sutter Health in Sacramento, CA, and Covenant Health System in Lubbock, TX, according to the Tucson, AZ-based company.
