CIVCO unveils positioning system

Accessories provider CIVCO Medical Instruments has introduced CIVCO Assist, a positioning-arm system designed to facilitate imaged-guided interventional procedures.

CIVCO Assist allows physicians to place and hold instruments while performing ablations, biopsies, or other minimally invasive procedures under CT and ultrasound guidance, according to the Kalona, IA-based firm. The system features three stabilizing options, a set of curvilinear positioning arms, and several arm attachments and accessories, CIVCO said.
