(Booth 5672) M*Modal of Pittsburgh will highlight new enhancements to the company's "advanced speech understanding" technology, AnyModal CDS Live for Radiology, and will also announce two new developments at RSNA 2008.

AnyModal CDS Live provides speech understanding functionality in real-time. The technology is designed to capture and comprehend clinical information from dictation. AnyModal CDS Live works with existing hardware on any computer. When a physician finishes speaking, AnyModal CDS Live completes the processing and immediately returns the document for review, according to the company.

M*Modal also will announce its partnership with GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K., and that company's launch of its Centricity Precision Reporting software.

M*Modal also is announcing the adaptation of its speech technology to the Apple iPhone.
