3M, Rad AI join forces for radiology reports

3M Health Information Systems is partnering with radiology startup Rad AI on customized radiology reports with a demonstration at the RSNA 2020 meeting.

3M's speech recognition software, 3M M*Modal Fluency for Imaging, will be used with Rad AI's artificial intelligence (AI) software to shave off 24% of the time it usually takes to create a radiology report. The integration uses computer-assisted physician documentation technology to speed up the process, the two firms said.
