Quantification software provider Medis Medical Imaging Systems of Leiden, Netherlands, has released a new version of its QMass MR cardiac software.
QMass MR 7.2 is designed to enhance analysis workflow and offers automatic scar tissue segmentation. While the analysis still can be monitored and modified at each of the four analysis steps, the automatic segmentation reduces manual editing to a minimum.
A scar tissue analysis tool in QMass MR features double thresholding, making it possible to differentiate the infarct core from the peri-infarct region, and to quantify those regions.
