MRI firm Fonar of Melville, NY, has sold an Upright Multi-Position MRI scanner to the Tripoli Medical Center in Libya.
The Tripoli Medical Center has approximately 1,450 beds and some 1,000 physicians.
The sale, funded by the Libyan government, marks Fonar's initial venture into Africa and the Middle East.
