Imageon changes name to Emageon

PACS technology provider Imageon Solutions has announced that it will change its name to Emageon. The new name will reflect the company's focus on enterprise archiving and e-business, according to the Birmingham, AL-based vendor. Emageon offers enterprise clinical image management (e-CIMS), a service that provides enterprise-wide viewing, distribution, and archiving of diagnostic images through pure Java object-oriented architecture, according to the firm.
