Version 8.9.0 of MedDream's HTML5 zero-footprint DICOM viewer will be available in June 2026 through aycan, a U.S. reseller and technology partner of MedDream since 2017.
The updated version introduces pathology support, broadening the viewer's medical specialty coverage, and adds the ability to save reconstructed multiplanar reconstruction viewports as a new series within a study. The viewer integrates with aycan's PACS and is accessible from any device via web browser, the firms said. It has been given 510(k) clearance by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and CE Class IIb-certification.
The companies will demonstrate the viewer at the Society of Imaging Informatics in Medicine annual meeting (SIIM26) in Pittsburgh, and at the World Health Expo (WHX) Miami 2026 in Miami Beach, FL.
