CliniComp has received 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its PACS viewer as a Medical Image Management and Processing System (MIMPS).
This enables diagnostic-quality image viewing and processing directly within the company's New Era EHR platform.
The integration allows physicians to view, manipulate, and analyze diagnostic images within the patient chart alongside laboratory results, vital signs, medications, and patient history, without switching between separate PACS and electronic health record (EHR) systems. The platform also incorporates AI-powered documentation and workflow automation, as well as automated identification and prioritization of high-acuity imaging studies using real-time clinical context, CliniComp said.
