Candelis has received Health Canada approval for its ImageGrid StreamVue enterprise imaging and diagnostic viewing platform.
StreamVue streams diagnostic-quality images across CT, MR, ultrasound, digital radiography, mammography, PET, and other DICOM-compliant modalities, according to the company. The platform is browser-based, enabling radiologists to access studies without a dedicated diagnostic workstation or VPN connection, and it integrates with existing DICOM-compliant PACS environments without requiring a full replacement, Candelis said.
StreamVue is available as an on-premises hardware appliance, virtual machine, or a cloud-hosted system, according to the firm. The Health Canada approval expands the platform's availability to healthcare providers across Canada.
