Archiving firm StorageTek of Louisville, CO, has added several new customers in conjunction with its OEM partners.
In collaboration with Agfa HealthCare of Ridgefield Park, NJ, StorageTek will be providing an enterprise archive for Greenville Health Systems in Greenville, SC. The system will include StorageTek's ASM image management software, an L700E tape library, and seven terabytes of 9176 redundant arrays of inexpensive disks (RAID) attached to Agfa's Impax PACS network.
Also with Agfa, StorageTek is supplying a shared imaging storage-area network to the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. The system will share radiology and cardiology PACS networks, and will incorporate over 7 TB of fibre disk, ASM software, and an L700E tape library, according to StorageTek.
In other sales, StorageTek and partner Siemens Medical Solutions of Iselin, NJ, are working to build a statewide image repository at Louisiana State University Charity Hospital in New Orleans. StorageTek has shipped a Powderhorn tape library, 9840 tape drives, and ASM software to LSU Charity.
