Johns Hopkins to install Siemens RIS/PACS

Siemens Medical Solutions will provide its Radiology v26 integrated RIS/PACS network to the Johns Hopkins Health System. The Baltimore-based health system will update its current RIS, a customized Siemens v22 RIS, to Radiology v26, according to Siemens of Iselin, NJ.

The installation, set to go live by December, will include PACS integration and support for multiple PACS archives, according to Siemens. The system will be available on over 200 workstations, and can be accessed by 150 concurrent users.
