John Patrick University (JPU) of Health and Applied Sciences has launched a Limited Scope Radiography Bridge Program providing qualified limited scope radiographers with a streamlined pathway into its Associate of Science in Radiologic Technology program.
Qualified students may be eligible to transfer up to 21 credits, including up to 15 general education transfer credits and up to six additional credits through test-out options, according to the university. The program combines online didactic instruction with supervised clinical education and is designed to be completable in approximately 16 months depending on transfer credits, JPU said.
Graduates earn an Associate of Science in Radiologic Technology and are academically prepared to apply for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiography certification exam, subject to ARRT eligibility requirements. Scholarship opportunities of up to $10,000 may be available to qualifying students, JPU said.
