DeVry University and the Pulse Radiology Institute are partnering to offer a new MRI Technology Associate degree specialization.
The degree combines DeVry's online coursework with Pulse Radiology Institute's clinical training model and nationwide partner network.
The hybrid program is designed to address a 17.4% MRI technologist vacancy rate, cited as a near-record high by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists. Students will enroll only after a clinical placement is secured, beginning with online coursework before moving into hands-on clinical training in the third semester, the organizations said.
The program is subject to applicable regulatory, institutional, and certification-related approvals, and accreditation is pending.
