MedQuist earns Arizona contract

Speech recognition and transcription technology provider MedQuist has won a contract from Radiology Ltd. of Tucson, AZ.

The Mount Laurel, NJ-based firm has installed version 1.2 of its SpeechQ for Radiology package, which is integrated with the group's PACS network from Amicas. Radiology Ltd. has more than 45 radiologists and processes more than 1,000 patients per day, according to MedQuist.
