Allscripts lands New Mexico contract

Healthcare IT developer Allscripts said that New Mexico Orthopaedics has selected its TouchWorks electronic health record (EHR) to automate and connect the practice's 46 providers and support staff.

The Albuquerque, NM-based group is comprised of 24 physicians and 22 midlevel providers and physical therapists with a broad range of specialties that include orthopedic and spine surgeons, sports medicine specialists, hand surgeons, total joint surgeons, physiatrists, podiatrists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and physician assistants, according to Chicago-based Allscripts.
