PACS provider NovaRad of American Fork, UT, has signed an agreement with Orthocrat to distribute the vendor’s TraumaCad preoperative planning software bundled with NovaRad's NovaPACS software.
The bundled product, to be called OrthoPACS, will be marketed to orthopedic clinics throughout the U.S., according to NovaRad. The first OrthoPACS installation was made at Orthopaedic Trauma and Reconstructive Associates in Peabody, MA.
In other NovaRad news, the company has installed NovaPACS at Pioneers Memorial Hospital in Brawley, CA. The firm has also formed a distribution partnership with Commonwealth X-Ray of Nicholasville, KY, which will market NovaRad’s imaging and archive products in Kentucky, southern Indiana, and southern Ohio.
