Stereotaxis reports continued growth for Q3

Image-guided interventional surgery firm Stereotaxis of St. Louis posted continued record revenue for its third quarter.

For the period (end-September 30), revenue increased 58% to $12 million, compared to $7.6 million for the same period in 2006. Revenue from Niobe system sales grew 49% to $9.5 million, compared with $6.4 million in 2006 due to an increase in both the number of systems sold and the average selling price. The company's net loss for the quarter totaled $10.4 million, compared to $11.4 million in 2006.

For the first nine months of 2007, revenue totaled $29 million, compared to $13.2 million for the same period in 2006. Net loss for the first six months of the year was $35.9 million versus $39.6 million in 2006.
