Echoserve expands into field service

Ultrasound repair firm Echoserve has expanded its operations into multivendor ultrasound field service.

The Golden, CO-based firm said it has started providing field service, technical support, and parts depot repair and exchange services to the diagnostic ultrasound community.

In related news, the firm said it has hired Mike McNamara, formerly of GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K., to lead its expansion into the ultrasound field service business
