Carestream sells RIS/PACS to Tufts

Carestream Health has won a contract to install its RIS/PACS software at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.

The 451-bed hospital will use Carestream's RIS software to provide centralized patient scheduling for multiple sites for the first time, while the company's PACS software will deliver 3D functionality without the need for dedicated workstations, the Rochester, NY, company said.

Tufts also contracted with Carestream's eHealth Managed Services for remote disaster recovery.
