Brit launches new voice recognition package

RIS/PACS vendor Brit Systems of Dallas has launched a new voice recognition and structured reporting package.

The company's SpeechWorks software creates reports and builds a database of information about the report that can be used in coding, developing statistics, or extracting data. It can be used with Brit's Vision multimodality diagnostic workstation, according to Brit.

The company is showcasing the new package at this week's Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) conference in Charlotte, NC.
