Canada Infoway adds clinical integration VP

Canada Health Infoway has appointed Lynne Zucker as vice president, clinical systems integration. Zucker will be responsible for Infoway's strategies aimed at fostering interoperable, standards-based clinical systems among healthcare IT vendors selling their products in Canada.

Funded by the Canadian government, the not-for-profit organization invests in projects with every province and territory to accelerate the development and adoption of electronic health record (EHR) systems throughout the country.

Zucker, a professional engineer whose career has included management positions at Sun Microsystems of Canada and Apple Canada, will work at Infoway's Toronto office. She will report to Trevor Hodge, senior vice president of investment strategy and alliances.
