Nuance upgrades Dragon Medical

Nuance Communications has unveiled its new Dragon Medical 10 real-time medical speech recognition software.

The Burlington, MA, company said Dragon Medical 10 software recognizes dictation nearly twice as fast as the previous release and improves accuracy by more than 20%.

Dragon Medical 10 also features new medical vocabularies, improved integration with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, enhanced regional accent support, and customizable commands such as Voice Shortcuts and DragonTemplates.
