IBM introduces new wireless services

IBM of Armonk, NY, is offering new wireless services for healthcare organizations and their providers.

IBM Enterprise Mobility Services is designed to give clinicians and nursing staff wireless communication and real-time access to patient records anywhere on the premises.

Several facilities already have implemented the technology. They include Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ; the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne, Australia; and Toronto East General Hospital in Ontario.
