M*Modal wins Neurostar contract

Speech recognition firm M*Modal of Pittsburgh has inked an agreement to provide its speech understanding technology to Neurostar Solutions of Atlanta, according to the company.

Neurostar will incorporate M*Modal's AnyModal Conversational Documentation Services (CDS) into its virtual radiology network (VRN), designed as a platform for outsourced clinical image management and workflow protocols. AnyModal CDS, combined with VRN, will allow radiologists to dictate without any changes in workflow, M*Modal said.
