Carestream launches new RIS software

Carestream Health of Rochester, NY, has launched a new version of its RIS software designed for small and medium hospitals.

Kodak Carestream RIS Standard Configuration is a preconfigured version of the company's flagship RIS software, designed to offer full functionality at a more economical price. The software is currently available in the U.S.

The software includes an optional mammography module with specialized scheduling, patient communication, and reporting capabilities. It is also scalable and supports Web-based user access, according to the company.
