Mortsel, Belgium-based Agfa HealthCare and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Free University of Brussels) have signed a long-term agreement to advance current research surrounding hospital IT and imaging technology.

The pact is part of a research program run by Agfa HealthCare across a number of academic institutions, as well as national and international healthcare initiatives.
