Eclipsys nets Michigan contract

Healthcare informatics firm Eclipsys reported that the University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers (UMHHC) in Ann Arbor, MI, has selected the firm's Sunrise Clinical Manager clinical information system (CIS).

UMHHC has integrated the Sunrise Clinical Manager computerized physician order entry (CPOE) system, along with results, an electronic medication administration record (eMAR), and patient lists, with its existing laboratory, radiology, and pharmacy information systems as part of its clinical information technology infrastructure, according to the Boca Raton, FL-based Eclipsys.
