HIMSS releases Dorenfest hospital IT data at no charge

The Dorenfest Institute for Health Information Technology has released research reports on the U.S. health information technology (HIT) market, and has updated 2005 data from its Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Analytics database.

The "Annual Report of the U.S. Hospital IT Market" is now available on the Dorenfest Institute Web site. The organization has also made available two of its white papers, "The Clinical Systems Hospital IT Market, 1998-2005" and "The Financial Systems Hospital IT Market, 1998-2005," also available for download at no charge.

The institute is managed by the HIMSS Foundation of Chicago.
