Misys opens center to promote EHR use

Healthcare informatics developer Misys Healthcare Systems has opened the doors on its Center for Community Health Leadership.

The center will work to create communities for advancing healthcare IT through electronic health record (EHR) adoption, according to the Raleigh, NC-based firm. This will include building bridges between regional healthcare organizations, including hospitals, physician offices, and home care agencies, Misys said.

As part of its commitment to the advancement of an interoperable healthcare system, Misys is donating up to $10 million in healthcare IT packages to communities across the country.
