Teleradiology services provider Virtual Radiologic has formed a strategic alliance with Bedford Hills, NY-based radiology practice S&D Medical, which will be merged into an affiliated medical practice of the Eden Prairie, MN-based firm.
The new practice, called New York Radiology Alliance, aims to enhance imaging services for patients and providers in the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area, according to Virtual Radiologic. The merger is slated to take effect on October 1.
