PACS vendor CoActiv Medical Business Solutions has introduced Auto-Fetch, an archiving tool that provides automated recall of all relevant prior exams as new images are acquired.
Auto-Fetch eliminates the need for prefetching and also includes an automated data migration feature for sites transitioning from existing archiving systems, according to the Ridgefield, CT-based vendor. Auto-Fetch works with CoActiv's Exam-PACS offering and other existing PACS networks, and it also works directly with multiple modalities in the absence of a PACS, the company said.
Auto-Fetch is a specialized component of the vendor's Exam-Vault imaging archive service.
