Agfa gets Air Force contract

Agfa HealthCare of Greenville, SC, has received a contract from the U.S. Air Force to deploy its Impax PACS to replace the existing PACS at Keesler Medical Center at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, MS.

The installation will include Impax security features such as armoring, encryption, access control, auditing, and regulatory compliance. The features are designed to help the Air Force securely connect and consolidate data and imaging archives located at multiple regional facilities onto a single point of storage.
