Healthcare IT and advanced visualization developer Merge Healthcare of Milwaukee has launched a new image management software package.
Fusion Hosted RIS/PACS and Fusion Hosted PACS are pay-per-study packages that give users access to Merge's digital imaging software with minimal onsite IT management of the system, according to Merge.
The two platforms store digital images and associated patient information on a secure, offsite server and are accessible at any time from any hosted network computer. Merge Healthcare's IT specialists provide implementation and support. An automatic failover and recovery option is also available to ensure continual uptime and workflow productivity, Merge said.
