McKesson licenses Acacia PACS technology

Healthcare information systems firm McKesson of Alpharetta, GA, is the latest company to sign a license agreement with Acacia Research subsidiary Hospital Systems.

The license covers a portfolio of PACS patents and resolves the parties' pending dispute in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, according to Acacia of Newport Beach, CA.
