Stentor teams up with IDX

Image distribution developer Stentor of South San Francisco, CA, and healthcare information systems provider IDX Systems have agreed to develop an integrated medical image and information management system.

Under the agreement, the IDX Imaging Suite and ConnectR HIS/RIS interface will be embedded with Stentor’s iSite image delivery system to create a combined medical image and information management offering, according to the firms. The integrated system will be available under an application service provider (ASP) model, the companies announced.

Both Burlington, VT-based IDX and Stentor will be authorized to sell the system, which will debut at next week’s RSNA meeting.
